Commissioning a piece of jewellery means it can be anything you want it to be - whether you are looking for a bespoke engagement ring to symbolise your love or re-designing an existing heirloom to remember a loved one. With bespoke, you are buying more than a piece of jewellery. You become part of the journey and experience a relationship with the maker of your jewels.

The Process

1. First Conversation:

We will discuss the ideas for your bespoke piece of jewellery such as the story/concept, metal choices, gemstones and budget. This can be done in any way that you feel comfortable - by email, over the phone or in person.

2. Source the Gemstone:

If your design has a gemstone incorporated into it, we can source a range of gemstones and present a few options for you that suit your requirements whether you are looking for coloured stones or GIA certified diamonds. You can also take a look at both our diamond guide and gemstone guide to help you decide the right stone for you. Alternatively, you can go to our gemstone collection to give you some more inspiration.

3. Initial Design Ideas:

From the thoughts discussed in the first conversation, we will begin the design process and draw up initial drawings and CAD renders for your bespoke piece. You will have an opportunity to make changes and adjustments until you are happy with the design. This is the part of the process you will be able to make your piece unique to you and exactly how you would like it.

4. The Making of Your Bespoke Piece:

Once we have decided on a final design, we will 3D print your design into wax so you can start to see the piece coming to life. The making process of the piece can take up to 2 weeks to complete and it will be presented to you in a beautiful box with a complimentary valuation for insurance. All our pieces are hallmarked with a London Assay Mark as required by the law.
